Freedom's Threshold

"Freedom’s Threshold" by artist Cheryl Derricotte is a free-standing 12' sculpture honoring Harriet Tubman’s rich legacy. The artist drew from the traditional architecture of Harriet Tubman’s home, interpreting it into metal and glass with Harriet standing in the doorway, to give us a physical reminder to step into freedom.

Paint Drip Placemaking Mural

Practically born with paintbrush in hand, Lila Gemellos has been brightening the Silicon Valley for over 10 years with large scale, placemaking murals. Gemellos’ work can be distinguished by her use of bold color, which was inspired by tie-dying with her Mom and now translates into creating whimsy and joy.
