Art

A New Destination For Art And Creativity

With an eye for the arts, we’ve curated a collection of installations, sculptures and commissions to create an artistic theme throughout the community.

Freedom's Threshold
Freedom's Threshold
"Freedom’s Threshold" by artist Cheryl Derricotte is a free-standing 12' sculpture honoring Harriet Tubman’s rich legacy. The artist drew from the traditional architecture of Harriet Tubman’s home, interpreting it into metal and glass with Harriet standing in the doorway, to give us a physical reminder to step into freedom.

Practically born with paintbrush in hand, Lila Gemellos has been brightening the Silicon Valley for over 10 years with large scale, placemaking murals. Gemellos’ work can be distinguished by her use of bold color, which was inspired by tie-dying with her Mom and now translates into creating whimsy and joy.

Vintage Bike
Inspired by his hometown of Detroit and a deep fascination with transportation, Ken Kalman's sculpture relies on metal and rivets to express technology's influence on our culture and society over the years.
